Hello I have a Saturn 2003 Vue automatic
CVT transmission front-wheel drive I really
would like the help and recommendation
what type of transmission could I use to
swap and 2.2l 4cyl. Fwd automatic cvt
transmission. what type of transmission can
I swap with  and what parts will I to make
this transition. Your are help will be highly
appreciated

My mechanic has told me that you cannot swap in AT or manual for the CVT that comes with this car. We have one here the forward clutch assembly has failed and we need to find a replacement CVT. Apparently they are rare and expensive.

Yes a standard shift 4 or 5 speed can swap out or a Asian f23 / 55 transmission from a 2004 saturn ion or the American transmission automatic their a manual on line from a guy in Texas but he dont do it anymore their is a wiring issue you must change and do and maybe a reprogramming of tcm etc
