Truck won't start

Asked by mill1018 May 10, 2019 at 02:39 PM about the 2004 Saturn VUE V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought a battery 2/12 months ago.  Car now won't start.  No sound when I
try to turn it on but the windows, horn and dashboard lights all work.  Any
ideas?  Thanks in advance!

If your dash indicators are all coming on but no starter action, it could be your starter relay that's not working. If you have a 12V test light, check the small terminal on the starter solenoid while the key is turned to the "Start" position. If it lights, it's your battery. If it doesn't light, it's your starter relay or ignition switch. Good luck!
