2004 Saturn ion radiator fan not working. Mechanic said its motor

Cant find jus a cooling fan motor for 2004
Saturn ion . Does that mean I have to buy the
whole fan assembly

No you shouldn't have to. Most vehichles that have an ac and heater unit have a "blower motor" they are normally on the passenger side in the dash near your ECU. I normally just google my stuff so you could try that to make sure. Or just take it to a mechanic
