Can't find fuel filter and my 05 Saturn Vue

I can't find my fuel filter in my 2005 Saturn
Vue 3.6L. Can you please tell me what it
looks like and send me a picture. I'm having a
hard time locating it. I googled it and it's
saying it's inside the gas tank?

The fuel filter on a 2005 Vue is external to the fuel tank. Crawl under the vehicle safety and follow the fuel lines out of the fuel tank towards the from of the vehicle to find a small cylinder shaped filter. One line connection on one side, and in and out on the other. The filter is $15. It is held by a bracket. It might be tucked under a rail or under a plastic splash shield.
