Hi tagengsup2004! According to this site ( http://autorepair.about.com/cs/doityourself/a/bl_timing_belts.htm ) there is no manufacturers recommended interval but it is suggested that the timing belt be replaced at 60K anyway. You seem to be long over due! Double check with your Ford Service Manager but if you are hoping for a few more years out of your Escort you probably want to get it done! Good luck!
