All the G6 GT's had the 4spd automatic, but the GTP models have the option of the 6-speed manual transmission. Probably the best bet would be to sell the G6 GT if you already own one, and buy a GTP with the manual. But maybe you can swap the 6-speed manual transmission into the GT, but that would be more trouble than it's worth, even if the swap is possible.

I think it would be worth the swap, because ive beaten a few gtp g6s. in my opinion i think the 3.5 v6 is faster
