i have 96 club wagon van 350 no brake light/ any ideas whats wrong

I've checked fuses changed brake light switch
turn lights work tail parking lights work
just no brake light when you press pedal

Oftentimes, the wires going into the pigtail on the back of the brake light switch break internally. You can jump the pigtail with a paperclip and wiggle the wires to see if the lights come on.

I don't mean to be disrespectful but if you haven't replaced the bulbs, consider that. Both bulbs have burnt out on me before.. REMEMBER there are more than one element in a Brake Light so it can appear to work in Running light mode, but not work on Brake mode. Replace both bulbs to be sure. IT was the answer for my daughters car.
