Bad alternator, starter, or battery?

Asked by Jj Oct 04, 2019 at 11:21 AM about the 1998 Plymouth Breeze 4 Dr STD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

About 3 days ago my battery dashboard light
came on . I got it tested at a auto parts store
twice and they told me that the alternator and
battery were running good . They actually
said The alternator was running pretty high .
Yesterday night I was driving home with the
battery light on and my lights were getting
dimmer and dimmer , then my radio started
turning off and on . Then my car stopped
while I was driving. I managed to drive it
again after 30 or 40 minutes but once it again
it stopped starting. I’ll tag a video of how it
sounds now https://youtu.be/XNfpOtHHmTU

if the alternator is running high above 14.5 amps while in the car the battery could be a problem or a bad connection. Check all connections not just those on the battery for corrosion or being loose.
