Car coolent has air in line and will not keep water in it.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a head gasket problem but its been running
fine as long as i baby it and constantly fill oil so its
not running dry. Worked fine for months. Then
alternator went bad so ordered new one and
replaced it myself. The car sat for a week without
power to run it at all and i feel like the coolent
additive stuff and the fact that the oil leaks in
coolent and it sat for so many days the coolent
lines are blocked with crap because only part that
is super hot when it over heats is the tank you fill
coolent in. I cant figure out what to do to get air
completly out so it stopps over heating. And have
no more money to put in to this car at all or i would
have a professional do it
