1990 Nissan Sentra front defogger?

Question type: General

I have the above vehicle. I live in the Philippines and so it has no heater just air con. There are vents o top pf the dash but there is no lever that will direct air through them and when I put the A/C on it does not got there.
The car can get really foggy. Any idea if this is supposed to work?
