Battery problems with a 2020 Subaru Outback

Batter drains for no apparent reason. Was told this happens because it is
seldom driven more than 15 miles. Told to let it run for 45min before turning
off. Sounds like nonsense!

ALL Subaru OE batteries are junk...but they do tend to last at least two winters. Nonetheless, if you can't keep a charge I recommend either the standard 550cca size Interstate at COSTCO for only $85 or the bigger 800cca (group 34) size for $95 if you tend to not drive for extended periods or often have ambient drop below 0F.
