Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 93 Nissan hardbody D21 it keeps
overheating I've replaced radiator cap top radiator
hose water pump and I've replaced the thermostat
still building up air pressure and bottom radiator
hose not allowing water to flow when I put the new
thermostat in the truck ran too hot I took
thermostat fully out it ran fine for a couple days
now overheating again I have bled the air out of the
line cannot figure out why the truck keeps
overheating  I've checked all my lines and nothing
is leaking but I keep losing radiator fluid as well.
what could it be?

sounds like a blowed head gasket. if the head gasket blows then you will have compression blow by into the water port on the head and build up pressure in the radiator. to check for it you can fill with water and check for moister coming from the tail pipe or take it to someone who has a radiator pressure tester. pressure souldnt exceed the pressure that is stamped on the radiator cap
