Can I let my vehicle engine run overnight to run a.c. Unit

NO, not your vehicle engine, but, you could do that with a generator on board. And, it makes a lot of noise, people outside around you will be pretty upset hearing it.

You would have to have a rear air conditioner and a fuel source, I have a propane system and it's very efficient, but, again, there's a lot of places with noise restrictions. I don't recommend it.
