There sounds like a loud exhaust change in the right rear of my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder around 2500rpm. Just had the o2/ catalytic conv replaced. Any hints on what I may be dealing with?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This was a used purchase that I may be starting to regret. 139,000 current miles on
the vehicle. Feels like it is running smooth after having the o2/ catalytic replaced. Wife
is normal driver of vehicle and told me it sounded like a Harley Motorcycle was coming
on the right side.  It happened over and over until she realized it was her car. I took it
out and sporadically around 2500 rpm there does seem to be a change in the exhaust
sound.

Sounds like a hole in muffler or tail pipe. You should have bought my 2005 GMC with 37,600 miles on it for $13,500.00 and you would be smiling now..ha. I still have it if interested.
