I have the same vehicle but a 2017 and all we did is went to iPhone Bluetooth setting and REMOVED other Bluetooth devices on the list and retried connecting to Uconnect again.

I have a 2019 JEEP, my phone pairs and I can listen to music and make calls (But only on my dash).....My VR/SIRI button on my steering wheel suddenly stopped working.....It happened a month ago, I unpaired my phone and re-paired it and everything worked well. Suddenly today again, I cannot make a call or do a voice text using my VR button on my steering wheel. GRRR!!!

I’ve been so frustrated with my phone not connecting to this car that I’m ready to bring it back. I’ve had issues on a weekly basis and have only had the vehicle for a month.

Not sure if this is the exact same problem but... I could connect fine but not able make calls using steering wheel button. Then realized if I press and hold the steering wheel button, I’m talking to Siri. If I just press and release the button, I’m then talking to the UConnect voice. Was able to start making call using CarPlay once I figured hat out.

My Bluetooth for streaming , podcasts , music and the usb with music on it stopped working. Some people on a different forum says check for U Connect update on https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software- update.html You will have to add your VIN number, need a computer and a empty flash drive.

I have been having the same issue. I have a new 2019 Jeep Cherokee that I purchased in January 2020. Have been back to the dealer 5 times. On the fourth visit they finally agreed to change the hub....now on the fifth visit they shrug and say "we don't know what's wrong". Before the hub was replaced the phone wouldn't charge. After the hub was replaced, the phone will charge but not connect to Carplay, nor does it recognise any media devices plugged into the USB ports.

Hi everyone...I'll add my similar problem to the list...I just purchased a 20 Gladiator, not even 3 days old, went to pair my phone, which is an Android LG model and the unit paired...but then my phone's Bluetooth began turning off and on repeatedly. Then the pairing would disconnect from UConnect. Unpaired, rebooted...still the same thing. I was hesitant to purchase a Jeep...I had a Ford with Sync and never had an issue.

I have a 2018 summit when I got iPhone 10 would not pair. Dealership told me software and phones changing to quickly and Jeep not keeping up with software issues. I am so pissed I will never buy a Jeep again and will be selling it in another year. The surcharges and issues one will have with insurance if dont use hands free will blow your mind if get a distracted driving charge signed insurance broker!

I have been having an issue with my 2020 Jeep Cherokee. U connect is saying it is my phone. Never had a problem with any other vehicle. The jeep dealer is not helping and neither is the manufacturer. I have only have had the vehicle since January of 2020 and been in the shop 9 times. Someone please help me.

Mine is frozen on a message that says Uconnect is searching for a device. I tried soft and hard reboots, upgraded software and even took it into the dealership, which ran diagnostics for $140 only to tell me the Bluetooth is broken and that the unit needs to be replaced (another $900). Everything except hands free works well. For that amount I will probably just buy a cheap Aux Bluetooth. It just sucks to give up all the functionality. Any suggestions will be appreciated. My Jeep is a 2015 Cherokee Limited.

I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee high altitude. My phone was connected but the Bluetooth audio part was not. After hours of trying everything in this post I saw one guy say to disconnect other Bluetooth devices on your phone. Got me thinking I have a portable Bose speaker that gives me problems sometimes. Decided to disconnect that and it immediately connected the audio back to my car. Problem solved. Thanks man

My wife has a 2018 Wrangler. We both have our phones connected to U Connect. We have never had an issue EXCEPT if my wife is home (she is priority) and I start the car, it connects to her phone immediately. When I leave the driveway, it disconnects from her bluetooth, but will not connect to mine. I have to drive a couple of blocks away, pull over, turn the car off and restart for it to pick up my phone. It isn't my phone. I made mine priority and mine always connected but if I am home and she gets in and leaves it will not connect to her phone. Other than that I don't think we've had any UConnect issues. I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee Altitude and I have never had any issues with my system.

Ah geez. Also 2019 Grand Cherokee Uconnect issue. Not even a year in we were having problems with the screen not working properly, it doesn't clear the previous screen fully before loading the next one so there's a shadow of the previous screen. The system kept rebooting and freezing constantly it became a safety issue because the backup camera wouldn't engage. Finally the dealer replaced the unit and the rebooting stopped but the screen issue is still there. The entire time UConnect acted as if they've never heard of any of these issues which is obviously false. Now we decided to purchase WiFi for a road trip and today, after 3 weeks of it working perfectly, all of a sudden we can no longer connect to it. Just says "unable to connect". We've tried everything. So now what? We bought a $45,000 vehicle with a $25 monthly fee for WiFi and one of the most important features doesn't work.

I have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and I have the same issue, uconnect was paired fine with my iphone when first got it, now i cant get it to pair, it's like it's stuck. Either the computer is just low quality and unable to process or something else. It charges, it's pairs and then gets stuck. Stupid thing won't work. This is a wonderful car but if the brains are all f...d up what's the use. come on Chrysler Jeep is this all you can bring to the table a bunch of s...t!!!

I have a 2021 Jeep Compass. It has several issues from start stop not working to the phone not pairing properly. I can't make calls using the button on the steering wheel. The dealership wants to charge $165 per check in case the issues aren't covered under warranty. What happened to the 3 year/36k mile bumper to bumper warranty? The air compressor was replaced less than 6 months after purchase. Now more issues. This will be my last Jeep. More due to Stellantis policies than the vehicle.
