2019 Pilot EXL transmission

Asked by GuruQYKZ2 Nov 13, 2019 at 06:21 PM about the 2019 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When rolling forward in neutral at low speed (~ 3-5 mph)  then putting the
vehicle in Drive, I get a grinding of gears, best I can tell from the transmission.
The dealer says this is "normal".  I've never experienced this with any vehicle
I've owned.  Is this correct?...or do I have a maintenance issue?  Thanks!
