My 2019 Velar is due for the regular service. Dealer wants to charge over $700 to check fluids and some minor tasks. I can do that myself or go to a local shop for a fraction of that. Dealer is claiming it will void my warranty and violate terms of my lease. I believe that its illegal to require service to be done by manufacturer as terms of a warranty.
Do i really need to drop nearly $800 to get some wiper fluid?
It is illegal to require that the dealer does the work in the US. Have an independent shop do the service and keep the receipts. Do read the lease though! I don't know what you agreed to.
Hint. Top off all the fluids before you take it in.
F.O.R Why do you suggest topping off the fluids when you are taking the car in for a fluid change?
