SRS crash bag light on in the dash

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went thru a car wash & the SRS warning light come on in the dash. Did water get into somthing, Where is
the part that controls the bags located?

the inertia sensor would be under the center console most likely. def not in harms way from a carwash.

there are sensors behnd the bumper for airbags- a faulty sensor would turn on the SRS light. until you get it fixed, your airbags will not function in a crash.

i have a mitsu lancer 93 n when i strt the car the srs light comes on never moves why

SRS Light is a Seatbelt Restraint System and comes on due to a faulty module that can be reprogrammed by someone other than a new car dealership for much less, i have seen as low as $49 online, just be careful it also can be an indicator the car was in an accident but not all the time
