Water pump relay?

Asked by BobbyDangerous Dec 03, 2017 at 08:27 AM about the 1999 Audi A4 Avant 2.8 quattro AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have recently been informed that my water pump
relay may be bad. I feel as if I'm being duped. Much
like turn signal fluid or exhaust bearings. Any help?
And, yes even if I am being taken .

Must be for the auxiliary after-run pump? Diagram of system: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/21503.phtml Not much of an Audi person here, but apparently a water pump relay is a thing on these cars. Now, for turn signal blinker fluid we have a guy named Bob on here who will set you up just right...

these cars do not have any thing electrical in the rad system which includes the pump which is tecnhicly part of the timeing belt system. so it must be the part he said and i for one have never known one of these to go bad and i drove a 1998 audi a4 2.8L till 400,000 with out much issues with my rad system aside fro mthe random bad sensor

I would say if your car is puting out hot air and is not over heating then nothing is likely wrong wit hthe car.
