What kind of transmission does a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage take?

Asked by Beeinheadlights Nov 04, 2015 at 01:26 AM about the 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage DE

Question type: General

It is a sedan Ds I think. It's my boyfriend's car
and he needs a new transmission. It's a
surprise.

When people talk about a new transmission what they usually mean is a rebuilt one. A gift certificate from a transmission shop might be what you want. They would need to know the year, make and model of the car as well as the engine and the transmission type. If you can get the VIN for it, a dealer can tell you exactly what you need to know. The VIN will be on the registration card.
