I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage ES. The ECU is causing a miss fire cyl #4. I want to know if there are other year mitsubishi ECU that will work with mine.

Yes I have replaced coil pac, spark plug , cleaned all injectors and swapped #4 injector with #3, checked wireing.

Really don't think it would be the ECU, there is something else going on........> Possible causes...> - Faulty spark plug 4 - Clogged or faulty fuel injector 4 - Faulty ignition coil 4 - Fuel injector 4 harness is open or shorted - Fuel injector 4 circuit poor electrical connection - Ignition coil 4 harness is open or shorted - Ignition coil 4 circuit poor electrical connection - Insufficient cylinder 4 compression - Incorrect fuel pressure - Intake air leak
