My 83 cutlass with a 307 shuts off while driving

I just did some what of a over hual on my 307
i change the intake manifold , a performance
distributor , edelbrock 4 barrel carb. And just
change the gas tank and recently when im
driving after 30 min the engine just shuts off
it starts back up then as im driving cuts off
again

Try to determine if this is a spark issue or a fuel delivery problem. Maybe the gas tank has crud in the bottom that blocks the fuel pickup.

Its a new tank would it have crud in it ? And if it was a fuel problem i don't think the car would start and drive for so long just asking ?

I thought it was a electrical issues at first and i change my ignition coil
