02 Lancer OZ Rally - Won't Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so I just replaced the clutch in my 2002 Lancer OZ Rally and I go to
start it to make sure everything is connected and the motor runs. Well when I
turn the key it cranks once and then stops and clicks. Before I started to take
the transmission out the car started and ran fine. So do you think it could be
the starter or am I missing something that isn't connected? BTW the battery is
brand new.

I found the problem...There was a cable that was grounded to the transmission casing that didn't have a good connection so I cleaned that up and grounded a metal bracket that was also with it.
