Will I need to replace radiator if water keeps coming out of it continually?

Hi! Last night I was driving home and all of a sudden the car started to make a noise - then just before I pulled over I saw a steam coming from the left side of the bonnet - I then looked at the dash and the temperature gauge was reading quite high - I waited for it to cool down somewhat and then because I needed to get the car back home - I filled it with water - had no coolant - managed to get it home - car was still drivable - it was night time so I couldn't see where the water was leaking from - anyhow this morning I went to check it again and fill it up with water - I noticed it was leaking water from the top of the radiator - I also felt the cap of the radiator was a bit oily - don't know if that would be a big concern. Thanks Tmor

Yes if radiator is leaking,change it,or have it repaired,and the oily substance may have been oil,check it again,and if oil is in water,you may have blew a head gasket when it ran hot,hope there is no oil in the radiator,,good luck with it.

The same thing happen to mines but my dad towed it home i put a new radiator on it with new hose still wont start
