I have a 1985 gmc 2500 pickup with a 350 and i
was wondering if i can put a 400 buick engine with
a 400 transmission?

Sure, but it won't be a "plug and play" swap, you'll have to swap over harnesses, sensors, accessories, linkages, etc. as well, and watch for fitment issues like the starter/exhaust/crossmember.

Thank you you saved me from wasting money is it going to be the same thing for a 1969 400 pontiac motor and transmission as well or will it be a easier fit
