I installed a 1992 engine in a 1998 ford ranger. it will not fire. I was told the computer box will not switch out. Is their any way to make it work?

I changed out the engines.  everything ready to go.. but it will not fire up.  I was told that the computer box is not compatible.  s their any way I can make it work.

The computer for the 92 will not work on a 98 ignition system. You can swap it out with the '98 one. Check out www.rangerpowersports.com/forum for more help.
