The braking issue is due to the lack of vacuum coming from the engine (because of it running poorly) to the brake booster causing you to have no power braking. As for rough idle... it could be countless reasons. Check engine light on?
you need a new brake booster the rubber liner broke inside the booster so now theres a huge vacuume leak thats why its running crappy.
