Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X Radio

Asked by Amy May 14, 2021 at 02:49 PM about the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Jeep went in to get the radio replaced due to it freezing and shutting down,
when I got my car back from the dealership after 3 weeks, I checked my radio,
and all of the presets are still there.  Would they not have disappeared if they
had replaced the radio?

It could be some of the electrical wires behind the radio if not properly taped or if they are lose and moving around overtime they can wear down and have the inside copper wide open that can cause some malfunction on the radio unless they did not change the radio at all I mean it doesn't take 3 weeks for a radio change unless you wanted the exact stock radio that comes with the jeep.
