My Mazda 626 won't engage in reverse or drive. Checked fluid level and tranny was extremly low. Added fluid and still won't engage. Does it sound like my tranny needs replaced?

I I have a 1997 Madera 626 manual that won't catch no heard it's a 5 speed the clutch feels good tho
