2003 Tribute and the burglar alarm went off

when my wife locked her car the alarm went off for no reason , after she used
the fob  to stop it 30 seconds later it went off again ,,,,and so on and so on .The
car battery is now disconnected . How can the alarm be reset ????

so we read where you insert the key into the drivers door and lock then unlock quickly 3 times and it resets the burglar alarm ... YES, it does work ..
