Purchasing a car from an out of state dealership

Asked by GuruT2GQF Jul 17, 2018 at 04:35 PM about the 2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited AWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I was recently told by a dealership in Massachusetts that they could not offer
me the advertised price posted that they posted on CarGuru because I was a
New York State Resident. Is this true, and if so, why?

I smell BS. Sounds like another song and dance from a less than reputable dealer. I would walk away.
