2005 Mazda Tribute cranks slow then starts

My 2005 Mazda Tribute cranks over slowly but eventually starts.  I am worried
that one day it will not start at all.  It seems to be affected by colder weather.  
What could be causing this?  Had the PCM/ECM replaced almost 2 years ago
and the battery is maybe a year and a half old
