changed fuel pump and still don't work

fuel pump is not kicking on and put new one on and still isn't kicking on

Did you check the fuel pump fuse or relay ? Check for power at fuel pump connector with test light and also check for good ground.

I know this answer is probably of no use to the original poster, but maybe it will help someone else. The problem could be with the fuel pump control unit. On my parents 2005 tribute it’s up near the filler neck area looking up from underneath the vehicle. With all the salt on our roads in the winter here in the rust belt it can really do a number on those control units being as they are out in the open.
