Lookin for Mazda 3 help

Hi im sure someone Can tell me what
the thing on the provided picture is.
Everytime i change gear i Can hear a
“klonk” Sound from this thing

That looks like the rear motor mount. There is a rubber bushing on that mount that can rot out. If it has gone bad then you are hearing metal hitting metal as the rubber has worn out. The part is only 20 bucks at Advance Auto parts.
