2001 lincoln navigator will not start

2001 lincoln navigator will not start. get a clicking sound from what sounds like inside the dash. have replaced the starter, starter switch (solenoid), battery is new .checked all the connections for the above. does anyone have any suggestions. thanks

This happened to me doing the same thing. After several try I just let it sit and 4 hours later tried it and it worked no problems since. Although now I always carry a spare non coded key that will just unlock the door great $2.00 investment.
