Won't turn over

Asked by GuruB4R36 Dec 03, 2018 at 11:26 AM about the 1998 Ford Escort 2 Dr ZX2 Hot Coupe

Car shut off on me, a guy said it might be the gas
pump so I removed it and tested it and the motor
still works however when it's assembled it doesn't
work, can you help me? It's cranking but still won't
start
