How to get the Battery Light to go off

Asked by GuruHTHK1 Jul 10, 2019 at 03:55 PM about the 2002 Lincoln Continental FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lost my manual to my 2002 Lincoln Continental.  My Battery Light came on
yesterday and stays on.  I checked the terminals and the both seem clean and
free from corrosion.  Any other tips to get the light to go off?

Have the alternator tested. The output voltage may be low.

Yup, only way to tell would be to test the alternator / charging system.
