I would estimate the conversion cost could run near $100,000 and you would have a hard time finding someone to take on the job. You would have covert it to RWD and fabricate a full tube frame and set the body on it. Basically a race car.

A Toyota Camry, even a 2018, is still a lower- end, mass-produced car. It wouldn’t even cost you $25,000 to do a RWD swap and swap in a V8, even if you’re paying someone to do it. In my area, there are at least ten or twelve places that’d happily take on that kind of job. Additionally, though there might not be a huge aftermarket support for a 2018 XSE, I can certainly guarantee that it wouldn’t be too difficult or time-consuming to make a custom wiring harness or rebuild the chassis to handle the extra weight. It’s not like you’re swapping a 2JZ-GTE into a Lamborghini or shoehorning a Viper V10 into a Saab 9-3. You might run into a couple dead ends, but it definitely shouldn’t cost you anywhere close to $40,000 (yes, I said $25,000 earlier, that’s a guess as to what most high-end places near me would charge). Don’t listen to the idiot with the E-Type photo. He doesn’t have any idea what he’s talking about.
