4wd TOD not working

Have a 04 Kia Sorrento. Has AWD with a 4wd Low lock in knob, TOD, at left
side of steering wheel. 4WD Low will not engage. WHen turning on car, the
4wd system illuminates on dash then goes off as it should. The light at knob
does not come on upon start or when you try to engage the 4WD Low. Any
help would be appreciated. Dont know if it is a fuse, relay or motor...
