2005 kia sportage ex

Question type: Car Customization

I am installing an aftermarket double din radio in my 2005
kia sportage. After connecting it, max radio volume is very
low. I double checked the car stereo to make sure it's
working good, it is. I'm not sure if there is a a factory amp
somewhere in the car or is it something else?

I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

Is there a ATT flashing on the head unit or an ATT button? I dont know what it stands for but drops the volume to about 10 percent of what its set at

No it does not. I read somewhere that some vehicles factory radio are proprietary to the audio system. Also says best way to fix the problem is to take out the entire factory audio system and replace it with new speakers, wires, etc. I just don't know if my vehicle has one of those systems.
