Black smoke coming out from the auxhust

I have recently overhauled my 2006 opel corsa
utility. Now it releases black smoke from the
auxhust and the idling is not normal, because
sometimes it idles very high and sometimes idles
very low.

Sounds like the air/fuel mix is way off, could be due to a vacuum leak or a bad sensor. A rich mixture can lead to black or sooty exhaust smoke.
