Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2000 honda accord coupe lx 2.3 and looking to do
major overhaul, my auto trans is about to go, and I'm going
to convert to manual,  but I've been looking an engine
swaps too, I have a f23a1 and want to know what I should
do, keep it, or get a b series,  h23 or f23a jam, then do I
need to find a different donor car for this swap. I'm
overwhelmed with everything,  please help, need advice
about what to do here, want to be able to give this car I've
had for 10 years  to my daughter when she gets her license,
oh she is 3.

If you love this car and plan on keeping it another 20 years the money will be worth it but otherwise the cost to do an engine swap and to change from auto to manual is not worth it, not even close. I would stick to the exact same engine and transmission that you have now but if you have time and money to spend go for it.

Also I do have a donor car for all the other parts, just mainly unsure of what engine to put in, have a honda race team down the street that will do the work for a good price
