WP Ford Fiesta "door ajar" chime

Hi there, I've got a 2004 WP Ford Fiesta, which has the door ajar icon
constantly lit up on the instrument binnacle. The door alarm will constantly
sounds whilst driving the car, when all doors are closed (including bonnet,
tail gate) the interior light will not switch off when the door position is
selected.

I've so far cleaned terminal connections, door latches, and still no luck.

Is this an electrical fault within the vehicles wiring?
