1958 Ford Fairlane fuel pump install?

I am trying to replace my fuel pump on my 58 Ford 352 engine. I cant get bolts in it. I cant hold it up so pump lever.

It takes some strength to compress the lever and install the bolts. Maybe if you have a helper it would be easier. Try turning the engine a little, maybe it will be easier.

Turn the engine crankshaft a few degrees until the cam eccentric moves out of the way and try it again.
