99 explorer 4x4 4.0 ltr

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put a brand new fuel pump assembly on my explorer. plus changed the inline
filter, and the fuel pump relay. but the truck still looses power and dies
sometimes while i'm driving. When it starts I can usually ease off the
accelerator pedal and it comes back. What can cause this to keep happening?

More possible problems than can be addressed here. You have already spend more in changing things that obviously did not need changing than it would have cost to have a reputable shop plug in their computer and give you an estimate on the repair bill. Once you get the estimate you can them decide if you want to have them replace the part, or attempt to do it yourself.
