I currently have a leased 2017 Jeep Renegade ( less than 26k miles) that I might be considering trying to sell because I miss my Wrangler and want to get back into one ASAP without killing myself in huge payments. How is that possible with still owing so much on my current vehicle

You cannot sell a leased car, you are renting it.
