Question type: General

Question, can I tow my trooper without using a trailer? It has a diferential slip release. But what about the front auto 4WD release? What speed can I tow at.

A 4WD vehicle should be towed with trailer or else the transmission or the transfer case might get screwed up. Or if you tow it with the front or back wheel on the trailer then place dollies on the other side of the wheel.

I tow my 99 trooper behind our motor home, and it's never had a problem... just make sure she's in Neutral... if you're towing with an rv I would invest in a car bra...after i drove from michigan to denver...i wish i would have invested on one....
