Why did CarGurus cover up the fact that the dealer had bad reputation?

I only wish I had not relied on CarGurus' reviews before I purchased from a very dishonest dealer.  The Yelp reviews were accurate.   Gurus covered up the fact that Tim Dahle Nissan of Bountiful  Utah  had a horrible reputation for fraud.  One Yelp review after another describes what happened to me: Swindled out of several thousand dollars by deceit.  Wish I had read the Yelp reviews first.  I feel deceived/taken by CarGurus as well.

Reviews are by customers, not CG's. Your beef is with the guys who had a good experience. If there was actual fraud (almost no one here knows what fraud is) take it up with the local DA.
