How do you come up with the value of a vehicle?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

How do you come up with the value of a vehicle? You are thousands below
NADA and KBB values.  There is no way you are factoring all of my options.
Therefore you are hurting my potential sale by undervaluing my vehicle and
saying it is overpriced.

If you expect to get dealer prices for your car you will be disappointed. Private sales are always less.

The values I am getting is private values not retail.

Sell it somewhere else if you think you can get a higher price. You should know that the CG's IMV is simply a price comparison to other similar cars for sale in your area. Price it however you like but it will show as overpriced because the competition is priced cheaper. One thing you should know is aftermarket stuff usually does not add value even if you spend 10 grand on wheels and tires and another 10 grand on a 12" lift. Things like a shell do add some value, figure maybe half what you paid for it.
