Steering wheel Contact plate
I bought a new MB steering wheel with reference A1724607303, but at
installation the control buttons for onboard computer and radio/phone do
not work. I understand that I need a new contact plate other than the one
at present in the wheel (A166 464 0817).
Do you know which contact plate reference number I need for it wok

Done ! The answer is installing a new contact plate in the new steering wheel. The one I installed is MB part number A2184640317. Once you change this and plug in all cables, it's all systems go. Attached is my new wheel on the 2009 W212/E350CDI
Hi. How did you know which contact plate to get? There seem to be dozens of part numbers. I have a 4 spoke round wheel in a 2011 E350 sedan (W212) and looking at installing a 3 spoke round wheel from an E 250 cabriolet (W212). Did you put your existing PCB / circuit board / chip in the new wheel?
The E250 cabriolet is a MY 2016 (W212) so I believe the PCB is different to the pre face lift cars like mine in 2011.
